LATEST NEWS FLASH ............ ROSS EMMETT VISITS WALES!

THE SOCIAL CARE EXPO
Ross Emmett spoke to a 'standing room only' audience at The Social Care Expo on April 19th 2012 at The Vale Resort, Hensol, Vale of Glamorgan.

This was his first ever visit to Wales.

His talk was on 'Taking the Ache out of Aging'. He demonstrated the ease and simplicity of the Emmett Technique by inviting members of the audience to participate and making very quick changes to the range of movement in a shoulder; improving grip strength and changing a person's ability to balance - all changes that happened within seconds of the application of light touch.

The level of interest from Care Home owners and managers as well as other Social Care professionals was very exciting for us all.

Ross and his partner, Karen [also a very experienced Emmett practitioner] spent the day at the EMM-Tech stand offering free treatments.

Carol Fisher, from Monmouthshire, was instrumental in organising the Ross' visit.

Carol, Mike Davies and I were delighted to work alongside Ross and Karen at the stand to help people understand what the Emmett Technique could do for residents in care and also for their hard working carers.

EMM-Tech courses will be available to teach carers how to use this technique for their residents and also to help their fellow carers who may be in need of pain relief.

EMM-TECH COURSE DATES

Course scheduled at a lovely new therapy facility called The Wellness Centre in Neath May 6th and 13th [Sundays] from 9.30 a.m. until 1.30 p.m.
Following up on Ross Emmett's visit to The Vale - I am lucky enough to be able to offer a course at The Vale Spa on June 17th and 24th [Sundays] from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. If you attend this course at The Vale - they are offering each participant a free day pass to the Health Club, which included use of the pool, sauna and gym on each of the two Sundays -so book your place soon !
