Advanced Emmett Training

On my road to recovery after my accident in February this year I have had a busy return to work.

Last week i spent a lovely day at the YMCA in Neath at their Health and Wellbeing day with my colleagues from The Wellness Centre.

Then I spent a day treating clients that had been waiting for some time for a session of Emmett – it was glorious to be back in action, using Emmett Technique to help ease back pain and to bring balance back to muscles that were in need of change.

On Thursday I spent the day at The Social Care Expo in Cardiff City Football Stadium supporting my friend and Emmett colleague, Carol Fisher at her stand which was promoting the use of Emmett Technique in the Care sector and also to promote EMM-Tech courses for care workers.

It was a fairly quiet show, but this meant that fellow stall holders were queuing up to receive short Emmett Treatments and so we kept busy all day. Carol and I helped treat issues of pain and restricted movement for people with problems such as neck restriction, shoulder and upper back tension, elbow pain, low back pain, sciatic pain and an inability to squat comfortably. I never fail to be astonished by what can be achieved by this simple technique and two of our fellow stall holders were so excited by the change to their shoulder movement that there were bear hugs all round!

We definitely made some new converts to this light touch method of treatment.

My next big event is to take part in the latest advanced Emmett training this week in Birmingham with Ross Emmett as the special guest at this course.

watch this space …… Lots of new procedures to share with everyone next week

Your health is my priority and so I have suspended all treatments and training until such time as this emergency has passed.
I will be delighted to re-book your appointment and continue your training as soon as I can.
Please message me if you need to talk about anything - happy to be here for you.
